Remote Support (Desktop)

What it is: A live chat and screen-sharing support channel built into Draftworx Desktop that connects you directly to a Draftworx consultant.

What it's for

When you need immediate help from the Draftworx team, Remote Support lets a consultant join your session online and assist you in real time — without needing to email files back and forth. It can be launched from inside the application or from a shortcut on your desktop.

How to do it

Launch from Inside the Application

  1. Click the Draftworx Icon in the ribbon.
  2. Select Remote Support.
  3. Click Launch Remote Support.
  4. Enter your name and click the Chat Icon.
  5. Type your query in the text bar and press Enter to send it.
  6. A Draftworx consultant will respond and join your session to assist.

Launch from the Desktop Shortcut

  1. Double-click the Remote Support shortcut on your Windows desktop.
  2. Follow the same steps from step 4 onwards.

Tip: Support is available Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 CAT.
