File Manager (Cloud)

What it is: A document storage area within each client engagement where supporting files can be uploaded, organised, renamed, and downloaded.

What it's for

Accountants often need to keep supporting documents — such as signed approval letters, source data files, or working paper attachments — alongside the client engagement. The File Manager provides a folder-based area within the engagement to store and retrieve these documents without leaving Draftworx Cloud.

How to do it

Uploading a file

  1. Select File Manager from within the client engagement.
  2. Select the folder you want to store the document in (e.g. Working Papers).
  3. Select Upload File, then select Select File.
  4. Locate and select the document on your computer, then select Open.
  5. Select Upload to complete the upload.

Renaming a file

  1. Select the Rename Icon next to the file you wish to rename.
  2. Edit the name and select Done.
  3. Select Yes to confirm.

Downloading a file

  1. Select the Download Icon next to the file.
  2. The file will save to your computer's Downloads folder.
