Appearance
Combined Client List (Desktop)
What it is: A single, unified view of all client files across every storage location you have access to — Local, Server, Websync, and Archived — so you can find and open any file without navigating location by location.
What it's for
When your practice stores client files in multiple places (local machine, a shared server, Websync), searching for a file across each location separately is slow. The Combined Client List merges all locations into one searchable list, letting you jump straight to any client file with a double-click.
How to do it
- On the Client List screen, click Combined Client List.
- The list shows all client files from every location you have access to. Each file has an icon indicating its storage location:
- Local
- Server
- Websync
- Archived
- Double-click the client file you want to open it.
Reading the Status Icons
Each file also shows a status icon:
- Circled tick — indicates the file's storage location
- Grey lock — file is currently locked (another user has it open)
- Red triangle — Websync file transfer failed
- Green lock — file is archived
