Directors Responsibilities and Approval (Cloud) ​

What it is: The Directors Responsibilities and Approval is an illustrative statement in the Annual Financial Statements, governed by the applicable reporting standard, where directors formally approve the financial statements and confirm their responsibilities.

What it's for ​

This section allows one or more directors to sign off on the Annual Financial Statements. Draftworx Cloud accommodates multiple signatories by default; rows for additional directors can be expanded or hidden depending on how many directors need to sign.

How to do it ​

Setting up director signatures ​

  1. The Directors Responsibilities and Approval sheet is found on the Response Sheet within the Annual Financial Statements.
  2. Multiple directors can sign: select the Groupings (+) to expand and reveal additional directors' signature rows.
  3. To show only one director signing, select the second director's row, navigate to Format → Borders, and select No Border to remove the signature line.
  4. To make the hidden director's row invisible (not just borderless), change the Font Colour to White so the text disappears from view.
  5. The statement will now show only one director for approval.
