Renaming a Client File (Desktop) ​

What it is: A way to change the display name of a client file on the Client List.

What it's for ​

Client files may need to be renamed to correct a typo, reflect a change in the client's trading name, or improve how files are organised and identified in the list.

How to do it ​

Navigate to the Main Client List screen, then:

  1. Select the Draftworx Icon (the main menu button).
  2. Select Enable Client Rename.
  3. Select the client file you want to rename — the name becomes editable.
  4. Type the new name and press Enter.
  5. Select Yes to confirm.
