Template Tools - Applying Additional Practice (Desktop)

What it is: A Template Tools function that replaces the default firm details on selected professional reports with the details of an additional practice configured in Client Setup.

What it's for

Some engagements are signed off under a second practice (for example, where a firm has multiple trading names or where a joint engagement is conducted). Rather than manually editing each report, this function swaps the firm details for the additional practice details across all relevant professional reports in one step.

How to do it

  1. Ensure the Additional Practice details have been completed in Client Setup (these are the details that will replace the default firm details).
  2. By default, the main firm details appear on the relevant reports.
  3. Navigate to Template Tools on the Annual Financial Statements toolbar.
  4. Select Apply Additional Practice.
  5. The additional practice details are applied to all applicable reports.

Additional Practice can be applied to:

  • Independent Auditor's Report
  • Report of the Independent Reviewer
  • Report of the Compiler
  • Report of the Accounting Officer
  • The Chartered Accountant (South Africa) Declaration
