Adding More Than 5 Detailed Income Statements (Desktop)
What it is: A manager-level setting that lets you add more than the five Detailed Income Statements that Draftworx Desktop includes by default, so you can report on additional revenue streams or cost centres.
What it's for
Draftworx normally provides five Detailed Income Statements within a client file. Some entities — for example businesses with multiple trading divisions — need more. Once you increase the count, the extra statements appear as selectable options when linking accounts on the trial balance and are included in the Annual Financial Statements under the Content section.
How to do it
Adding extra Detailed Income Statements (DX144)
- Log in using the Manager Password. (This change requires manager-level access.)
- Go to Template Tools.
- Find the #DetailesIS field and increase the number to match how many Detailed Income Statements you need.
- Wait a few seconds while Draftworx creates the additional statements.
- The new income statements will now appear in the drop-down on the Working Trial Balance, so you can link accounts to them.
- In the Annual Financial Statements, they will appear under Content and can be included or excluded as needed.
