Re-Order Notes on the SoFP (Cloud)
What it is: The Re-Order Notes feature in Draftworx Cloud allows preparers to move note references on the Statement of Financial Position (SoFP) up or down so that note numbers appear sequentially.
What it's for
After adding or removing notes during the preparation of financial statements, note numbers on the SoFP can fall out of sequence. Draftworx Cloud's Design menu provides Move Up and Move Down controls that reposition a note and automatically renumber it to maintain sequential ordering.
How to do it
Re-ordering note numbers on the SoFP
- Identify the Note Number on the SoFP that is out of sequence.
- Navigate to that note on the SoFP and select the cell that contains the Note Number (not the label).
- Select Design from the menu.
- Select Move Up or Move Down to reposition the note. Repeat until the note is in the correct position.
- Once moved, the Note Number updates automatically and the note will appear in its new position.
Important: Always select the cell containing the Note Number — not an adjacent label cell — before using Move Up or Move Down.
