Privy Signature (Desktop) ​

What it is: A feature that retrieves and embeds a practitioner's professional certification seal (from their professional body) directly onto the relevant engagement report in the Annual Financial Statements preview.

What it's for ​

Some professional bodies issue digital certification seals that must appear on engagement reports (such as independent reviewer's reports) to confirm the practitioner's membership and standing. The Privy Signature feature connects to the professional body's registry using the practitioner's registered email address and pulls down the available certifications, allowing the appropriate seal to be embedded in the final PDF output.

How to do it ​

Embed a professional certification seal ​

  1. Preview the Annual Financial Statements.
  2. In the Preview pane, select Signatures.
  3. Select Certification.
  4. Enter the Partner Password and click OK to authorise.
  5. Enter the email address registered with your professional body and click Retrieve Certifications.
  6. Select the relevant certification from the list returned.
  7. The chosen certification seal is now displayed on the engagement report in the preview.

Remove the seal ​

  1. Return to Signatures > Certification.
  2. Deselect Embed Certification to remove the seal from the engagement report.
