Adding a Watermark to the AFS (Desktop)

What it is: A setting that stamps a "DRAFT" (or custom) watermark across every page of the Annual Financial Statements to show the document is not yet finalised.

What it's for

During preparation and review, it is important that anyone reading the statements can see at a glance that they are not the final, approved version. The watermark feature does this automatically across all pages. You can customise the wording (e.g. "DRAFT", "CONFIDENTIAL") and turn it off once the statements are ready to issue.

How to do it

Enabling and configuring a watermark (DX088)

  1. Open the preview of the Annual Financial Statements.
  2. In Preview Settings, under the All section, tick Enable Watermark. A "DRAFT" watermark will immediately appear on every page.
  3. Adjust the Watermark Settings in Preview Settings to change the appearance (font size, transparency, angle) as needed.
  4. To change the wording, update the watermark text field in the settings to match the required status (e.g. "CONFIDENTIAL").
  5. When the statements are finalised, untick Enable Watermark to remove it.
