Independent Auditor's Report (Cloud)

What it is: The Independent Auditor's Report section in Draftworx Cloud is the sheet where the external auditor's opinion is configured and positioned within the Annual Financial Statements.

What it's for

The auditor's report is a legally required component of audited financial statements. Draftworx Cloud provides a template report that can be customised for the appropriate audit opinion. It also accommodates the scenario where a firm replaces the Draftworx template with a signed PDF from the external auditor, providing tools to manage page breaks so that page numbering in the Index remains correct.

How to do it

Configuring the Auditor's Report

  1. Navigate to ReportAudit in the Annual Financial Statements.
  2. Open the relevant Opinion — only one opinion should be open at a time (e.g. unmodified, qualified, etc.).
  3. To add the auditor's practice information to the report, use Apply Additional Practice Details (see Template Tools guide).
  4. If replacing the built-in report with a signed PDF, expand the sections at the bottom of the Report sheet and insert Page Breaks to keep the Index page numbering accurate.
  5. Set the Audit Opinion type from the drop-down on the report sheet — this selection flows through to other parts of the Annual Financial Statements that reference the opinion.
  6. For longer reports, expand additional Sub-Groupings to insert further Page Breaks as needed.
